SHJ GYM RENOVATION PROJECT - PROJECT LAUNCH FRIDAY JUNE 4
After an amazing response from School Families, Alumni, Mayfair, The Sacred Heart Foundation, and others, we were able to meet and exceed our goal of $160,000 to Renovate the SHJ GYM.
Thank You to Everyone That Contributed! You have created something that will be enjoyed by this and future generations of SHJ students to come.
Now the work begins. Contracts are signed, materials are ordered, and we are on our way to a fully renovated gym. Wasting no time, contractors begin removing the old floor and bleachers on Friday June 4th. A little over a week later the installation of the new floor will begin. New Maple Floor (DIN rated)

New fully enclosed bleachers (no more lost shoes, wallets, kids) with motorized deployment

New "Drop-In" Volleyball system (with lightweight aluminum poles)

New Safety Pads at Both Ends

New Wall Covering (replace purple carpet)

New Stage Curtain (matching)

Ancillary Costs (remove old floor,raise hoops, door transitions, electrical work, etc)

Our Goal:
To create a space that will not only be one of the top gyms in the CSAL League, but will also serve as a community meeting place, a positive for new prospective families, and an ongoing reminder of what can be accomplished if we all work together as a community.
